has been created by a video of a bird grabbing a woman's earpiece and taking
off without giving it back, despite repeated requests.
In the video, which was uploaded to Reddit, a
woman is seen lounging on the ground while enjoying the sun, music, and
headphones.
In the following few seconds of the video, a
yellow bird approaches her and quickly snatches away one of her earbuds with
its beak. The woman is startled as the bird abruptly takes flight with the
earphone still in its beak.
The bird then takes off and flies away,
sitting first on a wire and then a branch, all the while refusing to give the
earbud back. She tries desperately to get her earbud back after being startled
and failing.
The woman tries to remove the earbud from the
bird's mouth as it flies and settles on top of a cage, but she is unable. Even
though she gives the bird a banana in exchange for the earphone, it simply
won't budge.
Animal Being Jerks, a page on Reddit, shared
the now-viral video there. Sound cops, according to the post's caption. The
video entertained viewers on social media, garnering 2.9k upvotes and more than
100 comments as of this writing.
Funny comments were posted under the video by
online users. One remark said, "Play some Metallica for it," implying
that the hard metal music could actually make the bird take off the earpiece.
